"Scoop!" was created within a two semester time span as my capsule project for my education at Farmingdale State College.
The origins of the mobile app started when I wanted to explore the idea of being able to promote engagement within college campus. Knowing that social media apps are the way of the future, I decided to create an app that helps college students find out what's happening not only on campus, but also around the local town.
With the target audience being a college demographic, I wanted to go for a design that would catch your eye and keep you entertained while looking at it. That's why with SCOOP!, the entire design premise is based on a pop of color and friendly design elements that welcome users to the app.
